Explore what we offer
At Acosta Care LSDC, we offer safe, reliable, and fully accessible transportation for individuals with developmental disabilities and mobility needs. As an APD-compliant provider, we focus on comfort, dignity, and independence while ensuring every rider travels securely.
Our trained drivers are Level-2 background screened, CPR/First Aid certified, and experienced in disability awareness, mobility assistance, and wheelchair securement. All vehicles follow APD and ADA standards, featuring wheelchair-accessible vans, lifts or ramps, secure tie-downs, and clean, comfortable interiors.
Transportation is customized to each person’s support plan and daily routine, available through the iBudget Waiver or private pay. We provide dependable door-to-door service and scheduled transportation to Adult Day Training and other support programs.
Our Personalized Goal Support service is designed to help each participant make steady, meaningful progress toward the goals outlined in their Support Plan. We take a person-centered approach, ensuring that every skill, activity, and routine is tailored to the individual’s abilities, needs, and long-term objectives. No goal is too big or too simple—every step forward matters.
Each day, our team works directly with participants to practice new skills, reinforce learning, and build confidence through positive guidance. This includes communication, social interaction, independence, self-care, and other areas identified in their plan. Every achievement, small or large, is celebrated and supported.
This service creates a structured and encouraging environment where progress is monitored daily, supported thoughtfully, and centered on each person’s unique journey.
Our Community Inclusion services are designed to help clients build real-world skills, confidence, and independence through meaningful experiences outside the program. We support each client as they explore their community in safe, structured, and engaging ways that promote social connection and everyday learning.
Clients take part in activities such as visiting parks, libraries, stores, recreational centers, and local events—always with staff guidance tailored to their abilities and comfort level. Each outing creates opportunities to practice communication, decision-making, safety awareness, money skills, and social interaction.
We believe every client deserves the chance to be part of their community, and we make that possible by offering respectful support, clear routines, and positive encouragement. Every outing is planned with purpose to help clients grow, feel included, and enjoy experiences that strengthen independence and quality of life.
